Successful first delivery for Elixir Aircraft

The first customer Elixir aircraft has been delivered to the Aeroclub des Pertuis in La Rochelle – the local aero club to the French company.

Elixir Aircraft was founded in 2015 to produce a ‘carbon one-shot’ aircraft with a simplified structure.

The company says that its Elixir two-seater is aimed directly at the flight school market and offers:

  • Fuel efficiency with an average consumption of 12.5 litres/hour and 70% less CO2 emissions than similar training aircraft
  • Safety, thanks to a spin resistant behaviour and equipment such as the airframe parachute and anti-explosion tank
  • Versatility, with an aircraft capable of carrying out all missions, from initial training to complex navigation.

Elixir aircraftThe company says its order book is healthy with Elixir ordered to date, whether for individuals, flying clubs or training schools. Deliveries will continue throughout the year.
