Cabair, one of the UK’s leading flight training organisations, is launching a range of flight instructor courses in a drive to bring new instructors into its seven schools located around London.
There has, Cabair says, been a gradual drain of instructors to the airlines, and in response it has created a range of packages aimed at CPL holders who don’t (yet) hold an FI rating and who are intent on securing full-time employment at a Cabair school.
The programmes can include a range of options, such as a fixed monthly salary with a target number of flying hours per year; the FIC; an Instrument Rating; an MCC and a Jet Orientation Course.
Cabair says that it may contribute up to £15,000 towards the costs of the training depending on the pilot’s commitment to remain employed as a Cabair Instructor. For those already holding an IR, Cabair will provide 100 percent sponsorship for a programme which includes the FIC, glass cockpit conversion, MECR and IR re-validations, MCC and JOC.
