Have your say on CAA effectiveness and efficiency

How efficient is the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)? If you have a view on that here’s your chance to make your point.

The Department for Transport (DfT) has launched a call for evidence on that very subject. It’s live now and the deadline to respond is 11:45pm, 29 January 2023.

The Dft said, “This call for evidence aims to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). It is part of evidence-gathering for the Department for Transport’s review of the CAA. It does not cover departmental policy.

“The call for evidence will not consider the CAA’s safety and airspace regulation approach.”

According to the DfT, a summary of responses, including the next steps, will be published within three months of the consultation closing.
