The BBC website has the story of a concrete block – a tie down – which was seen falling from a light aircraft in the Newcastle area on Wednesday morning.
The aircraft had taken off from Newcastle Airport, and the block fell into the Northumberland Lawn Tennis Club, making a nasty looking hole.
The aircraft was a Cherokee.
