MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the EASA certification #10042834 for the next generation four-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-14-D/195-30b on the Cessna 400 Series. The company says the FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) is in progress.
According to MT-Propeller, the new propeller gives an almost vibration-free option, reduces the take-off distance over 50ft by approximately 3% and reduces the weight by approximately 10lb compared to the original metal propellers.
