Following the recent announcement that Eclipse had parted company with Avidyne, the VLJ manufacturer has revealed that Innovative Solutions & Support (IS&S), Chelton Flight Systems, Garmin, Honeywell and PS Engineering will be its new partners in providing the Avio NG avionics system for the Eclipse 500.
On the down side, however, Eclipse has confirmed that it is now parting company with United Airlines, with which it had developed its ‘innovative’ pilot training programme. Eclipse says that it will be forming a similar training partnership with a new company shortly.
