Regular columnist Brian Lecomber won the General Aviation category of the Aviation Journalist of the Year Awards, being presented with his trophy at the Gala Dinner & Presentation Ceremony held in Paris on 17 June (timed to coincide with the opening of the Paris Airshow).
This is the second year running that Flyer has scooped the GA award, which for 2007 was sponsored by Cessna. Brian’s winning entry, ‘Classic Biplane Fly-off’ – a head-to-head comparison of the Tiger Moth, Stampe and Bucker Jungmann – was published in the January 2007 issue.
