FLYER is heading to the Aces High Aviation Gallery at Steventon, Oxfordshire for a summer fly-in on 11 August.

Meet the team and spend the day with other pilots and FLYER Club members. There will also be an in-person edition of  The FLYER Show, featuring live versions of What Caught My Eye and Fantasy Hangar.

Visitors will be able to explore the aviation and military artwork in the gallery, including works by some of the genre’s best known artists, such as Robert Taylor and Anthony Saunders.

Aircraft can arrive between 08:30 and 12:30, with departures from 14:30 to 18:00. Free bacon and sausage rolls will be served during the morning, with snacks and refreshments available throughout the day.

The airfield has 1,150 m of beautifully maintained grass runway. There is no landing fee and no hi-vis requirement, although it’s essential that pilots obtain a briefing and PPR in advance by emailing [email protected]

Put the date in your diary, book the aircraft and remember to get a briefing and PPR.
