Leading Edge Aviation has announced a new partnership with Wings4Warriors, a UK charity that helps wounded, injured, and sick veterans train to become commercial pilots.

The collaboration aims to expand the charity’s flight training programme and strengthen its ability to deliver professional pilot training.

As part of the agreement, Leading Edge Aviation, based at Oxford Airport, will assist Wings4Warriors in developing its own Approved Training Organisation (ATO) capability.

The academy will also provide multi-engine training for Wings4Warriors students and will donate six Airline Pilot Standards Multi Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) courses annually. The first student is scheduled to begin APS MCC training at Leading Edge this month.

Dave Alexander, Chief Operations Officer at Leading Edge Aviation, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the aviation community.

“We’re incredibly proud to support Wings4Warriors. Their mission is not only inspiring, but truly impactful — and we’re honoured to play a part in shaping the next generation of pilots through this partnership,” he said.

Mark Radcliffe, founder of Wings4Warriors, called the collaboration a “game-changer” for the charity. “Their operational excellence, deep training expertise, and generosity will allow us to take the next big step in supporting veterans through to airline readiness. We’re grateful for their belief in our vision — and we’re excited to work together to make it a reality.”
