French-based ALMS has revealed its prototype of a new version of the Jodel D20 at the Paris Air Show.
It has a tailwheel configuration (in place of the earlier tricycle arrangement) and will be factory-built of wood and fabric. It will fit into the ultralight category, and as a two-seater with a 42-inch cabin it might well appeal to flying schools. It should have pleasant flying manners thanks to its characteristic cranked wing.
A variety of engine options will be available, including a 80hp Rotax 912 or Jabiru 2200 which gives a respectable 124kt cruise speed, but it can also be fitted with a 100hp Rotax 912-ULS.
