Notam site latest

The CAA has called a meeting to try once and for all to sort out problems with Notam and the AIS website.

Among those expected to attend will be John Gentleman, Manager Aeronautical Charts and Data at the DAP; Rod Dean, Head of GA at the CAA; various AIS representatives; Michael Cross and Russell Howton, the two GA pilots advising on improvements to the AIS website; Andrew Roch for the British Gliding Association and Rod Bailes-Brown who is in close contact with the PFA.

Mr Gentleman, meanwhile, has agreed that anyone wishing to make direct representations to him about the Notam situation or the AIS website, can do so by emailing him at <a href=”mailto:[email protected]”>[email protected]</a>.

Further information about what Mike Cross and Russell Howton are suggesting to help improve the AIS website can be found at <a href=”http://www.telecall.uk.com/ais/proposals_for_the_future.htm” target=”_blank”>http://www.telecall.uk.com/ais/proposals_for_the_future.htm</a> or on the Flyer forums where there is a long thread on Notam under GA Discussion.
