Oshkosh 2025 breaks attendance records

Celebration Way

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025 has set a new all-time attendance record, welcoming an estimated 704,000 people — comfortably beating last year’s total of 686,000.

EAA CEO and Chairman Jack Pelton credited the achievement to the 6,000-strong team of volunteers, staff, and partners. “We found ourselves revising our initial attendance estimate upward once all the final weekend’s numbers were in, including from a tremendous day on Saturday, July 26,” said Pelton. “This year’s success is a credit to everyone involved as they continue to raise the bar on what’s possible as we bring the aviation world to Oshkosh.”

Oshkosh in numbers

  • Show aircraft on site:
    • 995 vintage aircraft
    • 910 homebuilts
    • 361 warbirds
    • 101 ultralights and light sport aircraft
    • 75 aerobatic types
    • 74 seaplanes/amphibs
    • 18 rotorcraft
    • 9 balloons
  • Camping: Over 15,000 sites in aircraft and drive-in areas housed more than 40,000 people.
  • Volunteers: Around 6,000 volunteers donated nearly 300,000 hours to make the event happen.
  • Commercial exhibitors: A record-setting 962 exhibitors filled the site, showcasing everything from aircraft and avionics to flight schools and the latest tech.
