Register you locator beacon

We reported last week that the CAA was about to issue an exemption from the ANO which to allow personal locator beacons to be carried in lieu of an emergency locator transmitter while a further review is undertaken.

As reported on our forums, the United Kingdom Mission Control Centre (UKMCC) has requested that all PLBs used for aviation be registered with them. There’s a simple form which you can download from that site to fill in and return to the UKMCC to give them the details of your unit.
