The British Light Aircraft Company revealed at Aero Expo this weekend that it is to relaunch the Trago Mills Sprint 160 aircraft, relaunching it as the Redwing 160.
The new version will be produced in Romania with the UK base at Henstridge in Somerset, where the company is building some purpose-built hangars. The company claims that it already has orders for ten aircraft already.
The aircraft will be available as either production or kitbuilt examples (the latter should take around 1,300 hours to complete), with a Lycoming AEIO320 engine and a Hoffmann constant speed propeller. The type is night, IFR, Aeros (+6/-3 G) approved and should cost £113,000.
