Aero Legends is to stage the ‘Golden Age of Aviation Air Show’ at movie director Guy Ritchie’s Compton Abbas Airfield on 10-11 August 2024.
It will be ‘a weekend filled with thrilling aerial displays, vintage aircraft, and a celebration of aviation history’ said a statement from Aero Legends, which operates several vintage aircraft including Spitfire, BAC Strikemaster, T6 Harvard and Tiger Moth.
The full list of participating aircraft will be revealed closer to the event.
“We are thrilled to present the ‘Golden Age of Aviation Air Show’ in collaboration with Compton Abbas Airfield,” said Benjamin Perkins, Managing Director at Aero Legends.
“This event is not just a showcase of our passion for aviation but a tribute to the pioneers who shaped the course of flight history.”
Among the features will be a Warbird Showcase featuring past and present iconic military aircraft that played pivotal roles in aviation history, and Interactive Flight Experiences.
