Swift Aircraft model withdraws from AeroExpo

Due to what is being described as ‘unforeseen changes within the Swift Technology Group’, Swift Aircraft will now not be displaying a scaled model of the Swift at AeroExpo this year.
Instead the manufacturer will be displaying finalised images and videos of the Swift, as well as representing Europa Aircraft.
Swift’s MD, Dave Stanbridge, explains, “The Group is made up of many companies mainly working in oil and gas, renewable technologies and aviation, and during the next few months, there will be a level of restructuring and refocus. This will not impact but rather enhance the Swift Aircraft company since we are refocusing much of our effort now on a range of aircraft activities. Designwise the aircraft is at a very late stage and we still plan to have a full scale model and tooling by the end of the year. It’s unfortunate that the timing for Aero Expo clashes with other priorities within the Group, however we ask for people’s patience. Trust me, the Swift will be worth waiting for!”
Questions are also being asked about the future of Europa Aircraft, which makes up part of the Group. However Dave assures, “We are still flying the flag for Europa, and will continue to for the foreseeable future as it Europa is an integral part of our aviation raison d’etre.”
